Why at 18 years old, this fashion house is poised to be the next big thing. Direct from the SS’16 show in Paris
Successful Belgian designer Veronique Braquinho launched her eponymous label in the fall of 1997 and has continued to dive under the radar of mainstream fashion press resulting in an underground allure and loyal fans. Shrouded with an aura of mystery, the label has romanticism heavily embedded in it’s DNA. The SS’16 collection, in its subdued tones of black and cream, made an impact in comparison to the spring runways filled with sunny brights. Macramé fringing, victorian corsetry and gothic prints of flora and fauna were mashed with modern knacks such as logo taped trousers and sloped smoking slippers.
